Johnny Nix to Host Cooking Demonstration

During 14^th Annual National Cornbread Festival

Renowned camp cook Johnny Nix will be conducting cooking demonstrations here during the 14^th Annual National Cornbread Festival, April 24-25. Nix’s cooking demonstrations will be held on 2^nd Street in the Cook-Off area.

Nix will also demonstrate use and care instructions on Lodge Cast Iron Cookware, and give instruction on cooking with charcoal and wood. The cooking demonstration will include recipes Lodge Cast Iron Camp Dutch Ovens, Skillets and Reversible Griddles.

Known throughout the United States for his folksy speaking style and in-depth knowledge of camp cooking, Nix will discuss his DVD, “Lodge Cast Iron Cooking,” and will be autographing his cookbook, “All Time Favorites.”

The DVD and cookbook will be available to customers in the Lodge Factory Store, along with America-made foundry seasoned cast iron cookware, cooking accessories, cookbooks and other DVD titles.
